Step 1. We suggest that everyone considering adoption take some time to do a little "homework" about the size and breed of dog or cat that would best suit you and your home environment as well as the amount of care and money required to ensure that you can provide a longterm home for the animals in our care. See our online resources page. 

Step 2. If you have narrowed your search to a particular breed or a specific animal featured online please take a moment to fill out our online Doggy Request or Kitty Request forms. These forms provide us with the information that we need to ensure that you get matched with just the right pet.

Step 3.  Once you've submitted the request form we will contact you as soon as possible so we can arrange for you to meet your prospective pet. Because we prescreen prior to viewing appointments the adoption process is quite simple, once you've met you can generally take your pet home that day!
